Sîpîy, 2017-2019

Sîpîy (river, in cree) is a series of beadings that honour specific rivers that are important to the artist. These rivers (Heart River, Fraser River, and Red River) are important to me and I beaded them to honour the rivers work; at sustaining the ecosystem and the people that have relied on them since time immemorial.
